Official "MOVIE JAM" Pre-loader

Posted by RicePirate - January 29th, 2011

Official, but not mandatory :)

From Tom's latest blog post:

----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----

UPDATE: Rice Pirate has made a preloader that sums up the experience Friday night of trying to match-make all the teams after having a clock that was an hour off and over 100 people in chat:

If you don't like the visual you can pass on it, but it's there if you want some unity amongst the submissions. :)

For those who weren't there, Stamper's sharp charisma essentially convinced the staff to chug down Jim Beam and tell racist jokes about their own mothers, while Tom had to sift through the rotting mass grave of submissions and teams. All set to the ceaselessly streaming questions, comments, and complaints blazing through the chat box.

The preloader was a tribute to that snowy Winter's night (last night).

In other news, I've got the music video for Prism all storyboarded up. And if I ever clear my slate, I'd like to start a short series...

gonna retcon this into pico and the dandys

cool :)

The picture doesn't look good enough, i'll make my own, maybe.

cool :)

Oh that's nice there's all the stuff we wrote in the ustream chat in the background.

It's not that funny, but if you download the preloader, you can actually read that text symbol.

Lol, that preloader is brilliant, it completely epitomizes what it feels like to be a part of one of the Jams. I know that's how I felt but we managed to pull of a game on time.

It's true, it does also reference the frustration of fighting the clock, however this was specifically about Tom's online video cast... and his personal plight.

That preloader is beautiful.

aw, thanks :D

It was pretty fun by the time i got there... and only got better as the amount of people dropped lower and Stamper got drunker.

he scared them off with this sexy dirty mouth.

You're always doing something awesome with your self, Rice! You dirty dirty thing, you.

After the chat I felt a little less bad about missing out the Jam this time. It'll be interesting to see what comes out anyway.

I miss you, mate.

Very well made, possibly the only thing that's gonna be well made out of this entire "movie jam".

Nahhhhh, there's a lot of great teams, and I think a good number of them could surprise us all.

Ok the DOT DOT DOT vid....I know you probably heard this alot but oh well. THAT VIDEO WAS GREAT!!!!!!!! Me and my girlfriend can't stop laughing it was so great. I am actually working on the memorization so I can recite it even more.

lol, I thought about it as an acting monologue as well :P

would be cool(er) to see him shoot himself.
But it's still cool :D

MY wife wasn't down with that. Originally his brains would spray out into a glass jar, labeled, Movie Jam.
