Which came first? The Chicken or the egg?

...neither... it was the chicken-head.

Nice roto-working and fun execution of the through line. I'm not if the style really complimented "the point" ... but over all, stylistically cool :)

A script...

the animation, as you mentioned, not so hot. But the script and storyline is pretty great... the deliveries ... not always.

I have to score high for ambition and actually completing this monster.

hotness all around :)

Cosmic... can't wait to meet you... your talent floors me... Renae ... that goes for you too <3

ReNaeNae responds:

Cosmic's talent floors everyone!! I'm grateful she found time to participate!!

...you three! ;)

Shock humor? Wha?

This was actually one of the more straight forward flashes I've seen of yours, and I personally didn't see a fraction of the "shock" you usually invest in your work.

Your style is always amazing and smooth.

As for the flash, I only gave this a 9 because I felt like you left out plenty of other reasons "the Christian God" would sink Japan.

Everyone has their own interpretations of flashes like these, and I personally believe it's a pretty funny commentary on the folks who believe that this disaster was some kind of holy sign of the end of days. It was a shitty earthquake, that caused a shitty tsunami, and hurt a lot of innocent people.

For the people who use tragedies to affirm their belief structures, I personally find it horrifically distasteful to say, "See? You all died. Our God is real." Which is pretty much what you're doing if you quote scripture at a time like this.

I'm blabbing. Sorry to rant on your review section.

Your rant I enjoyed.

Way to translate an idea :)

While the sound wasn't perfect, you took a simple idea and made it an animation. It's simple, but very fun.

I hope to work with you guys in the future :)

Matija27 responds:

Thanks Mick
I hope to work with you in the future too :)

Hints of the Shining

A wonderfully cinematic feel. A complete story which left you guessing til the end. All mixed in with some sweeping art and a Coen brothers-esque direction.

Awesome :)

Dude...

...how did you fit all that talent in your skin?

I'm half ready to believe that you're some tentacle monster hiding in human form.

Seriously.

redminus responds:

You're too kind.

And yeah, it's autobiographical really, I just wanted my kids to know how I met their mother.

PEE ESS looking forward to working with you again sometime, HOLLA

Very cute :)

I love the unintentional subliminal messaging of, "If you're lonely, hook up with the first single person you meet."

:P Nice work!

jerryx1 responds:

xDDD I see your point.
So wasn't my intention, but I do see it xD
thanks for the laugh and review ;D

Wonderful to see this...

... not that i expect a bunch of serious flashes from you ... but I'm so happy to see this one. You did a great job with the simplicity and over all feel.

10JD responds:

Thanks RP!

Captain Planet, he's our hero...

... until he kills us all.

Been way too long since I've seen CP, and your tribute is stunning.

couldn't find a single blemish.

Sexual-Lobster responds:
