Been reading your blog! I was really shocked when I found most VAs don't think about their space. It is a pretty big thing if you're just starting out and can't exactly afford a studio though.
I can never keep up with blogs though since it's a pain having to keep checking back to that specific site. You should make sure to keep telling us on twitter when you put one up :D

oh dear god no cowboy hats! and in regards to the VAs talking about mics more than space, I think it's the draw of having an easy fix ... like, oh if I buy this shiny thing my voice will magically be awesome! rather than, alright, I gotta research and invest in my treating my space (be that a closet, a corner of their room etc). not as glamorous i suppose.

As a Minnesota native, I recommend Oofta Tacos.
However, as a northern Minnesotan native, I recommend you don't complain about the cold, as you're living in the much more hospitable areas.
Unless you count the people, as us northern folks can be far more hospitable at times, as it's nice to just warm up after a hard day of plowing ice, and fighting off bears and moose.
the plural of moose really shouldn't be moose ... i imagine science can come up with a much better word.

You can wear cleats on the grass and play baseball in Central Park, but you can't play soccer. Go figure.
