Great idea, loved it! Hope you'll make sequels regarding other things you listed :)

I may ... honestly, I'm not an authority on this shit ... but I'm learning. Actually have some nice professional insulation coming soon. So we'll see the difference there.

If I come across anything helpful in the future, I'll be sure to kick it out.

That was pretty cool!

zanks! hope it's helpful!

rice pirate, more like ADVICE PIRATE

is that picture your plundered loot? a couple of stools and linens? YEAH STICK WITH THE VOICE ACTING

AdvicePIrate ... I REQUEST A USERNAME CHANGE!!!!!!!

jokking, dude. STICK WITH THE SEXY

I'm gonna put this in the WIKI!

wikiwikiwahhh!

Do shower booths work just as fine? I think they're kinda the same thing. :P

yeah, i mean those walls are made to absorb ... I'm actually getting some clearsonic standing panels, kinda the same thing.

Roku comin' back or did you book another part? :]

Nah, just pick ups. But hopefully he comes back!!

This is extremely useful...and hilarious.

Thanks man!

Huh, I guess now I have all the knowledge and equipment to voice act. I just need to... Learn how to voice act. =(
Oh well.

that helps too :)

Oh that is brilliant!

Brilliant, no lol . Helpful, I hope .

The Blue Snowball is awesome, I've been using it a couple of years now for my stuff (Plonked on a mic stand in the middle of my room... I should really give the wall of pillows idea a go)

Thanks for the tutorial :)

Some folks don't really have a problem because their space naturally sucks up some sound. But it's good to point out what and why is going on, so if you want to enhance the absorption you know what's up.

Thank you. It sucks when you think you've finally found the perfect VO, with a great voice, great ability to act, but a shitty room which ruins the whole thing.

It's certainly rare to come across a great VA performance with shitty quality, though when it happens it's extra cringe-worthy, because you know how good it could sound.

Oh You

no you

<3 Thank you for this. Maybe one day the kids will listen...

Ah, but the questions is : will they "hear"?

Looks very professional.

get off my nuts, MOLK! One more shitty jab like that, and Imma de-friend you from linkedin!

dick.

So you might say that all voice actors are in the closet. :D

Very very much so.

Meh, I'm to cheap to do any of this lol... I've got a 7 dollar usb microphone and the only time I really animate is like 1 AM lol.

Crack will help.

Thanks for the insight. Friend of mine told me, a cube of matresses works just as well. Little hard for me to pull off in my compact room, but I'm sure something will work out.

That sounds right, so long as the mattresses don't have a ton of old springs. Sometimes a certain frequency could twang the springs.

i wonder if those tips also works on my USB mircohpone...

It should! The issues referenced are for sound coming in , not what's happening on the backend.

I JUST WANT TO GET A REPLY FROM YOU! LOLOL

Oh, Connie, you da beeest

I've been looking for something adviceful like this, didn't really expect to find on NG. Nice surprise! It doesn't take up that much advice though, like, how about curtains? How about recording to a computer, with fans, and stuff? Does the soundcard matter? Do you process your voice after recording to make it even better?
