My Big Fat Stupid Head

Posted by RicePirate - December 10th, 2011

I've been meaning to learn how to animate frame-by-frame for some time now. And after watching numerous tuts and speaking with a few of NG's "actual animators", I'm learning bits and pieces as I go along.

Here it is : Inanimate, a true story

But as Spazkid said, "I just did it everyday." And it's true, there's no subsitute for practice. I still suck at it, but in just a short amount of time consistantly drawing, frame after frame, it became easier (not only to draw, but to anticipate the next frames).

.

Some folks have been crying about Skyrim overload (*insert weiner in Jaz's mouf*), but that's the nature of a new release: LA Noire, MvC3 ... the recent resurgence of Pokemon, thanks to Oney. It'll pass ... but not for at least another couple weeks, I'd imagine.

.

Lots of other stuff to mention, but I'll save it for next week.

i am gonna punch you

31 punches today :)

I used to do frame by frame animation, until I heard about this stupid joke about an arrow in someone's knee...

I used to know that joke, just like you ... until I took an arrow and shoved it in your fucking face. Also, can't wait for your next anime, it's looking AWESOME!

If there's an animation style I wanna try, It's Misteroo's with the (well-animated parts of) Arfenhouse 6.

gonna look into that.

what a stupid head

f u , i giv yoo stupid hed.

For a fist time frame by frame animation its fuckin F A B U L A S!
*u have to read fabulas in a homosexual way while doing the jazz hands*

I have to? That's how I always talk *jazz hands!*

you're an asshole. you crank out your first animation and it's pretty fuckin sweet. i hope you lose your way in the night and mistakenly fuck a garbage disposal.

5'd btw.

thanks man, I'll be thinking of you while i bang that disposal inside out

FUS RO DAH!

SURPRISE!!!!!!!

I'm excited/dreading getting into fbf work. I'm thinking I'll rotoscope images of one of those dummy things (not sure what they're called) for a while. But we'll have to swap strats when the time comes. That's right, "strats".

I suggest lots of a little exercises ... face movements, body movements, walk cycle ... lol I'm giving advice ... punch me.

Oh and happy fuckin birthday.

Fucking thank you, bud :)

That sad part is how close that resembles me

i recorded the lines btw, just need to edit it down.

(punched)

Have a big fat stupid birthday.

Thanks! I WILL!!

thanks man, come to NYC in JAN :P

Hahaha loved the behind the scenes! Your fbf animation is looking pretty sleek as well. Really makes me want to practice my fbf too.. but for now i'll just continue abusing the shit outa tweening :P

Oh and Happy Birthday man!

thanks man :D

You shoud see my head...

is it made of lazar?

Good sir, I wanted to wish you a happy birthday! I hope it's been memorable and awesome to you so far! :)

Thank you, kind sir... it has been memorable AND productive :D

Haha, this reminds me that I bought a pretty good microphone for voice acting and took me two years to touch it. Man, if instead of being lazy or affraid I had practiced for this two years, I would be the best!
Yeah, so there's a lot of guys out there that want to build their massive studio to start working, when they should start working before upgrading.
I mean, a good artist works within it's limitations.
The sudden cut before "this flash is dedicated to" made me laugh... Specially because I identify myself a little with it and was expecting it to be dedicated to "you", I mean, me, I mean, us.
Anyway, good stuff! Loved the "behind the scenes" too.

get to work!
