[Madness Grantville DEMO]

Not my cup of tea... and yet...

I honestly thought it was really well done. Considering all the slapped together madness flashes ... this really stands out. Not only in the animation, but the thought behind it. It wasn't one of those "random click everywhere" point and clicks ... there was a cool logic behind it.

If the rest is anything like this demo ... I think you've got a very good game on your hands.

Add some "side-quest" stuff, some red-herrings, and medals if you can, and you've got gold. :)

It took a few minutes before I realized how....

...awesome this game is. A wonderful mix of classic, new, and hilarious. And I'm strangely attracted to the music. Seriously, a surprise gem of a game.

the gameplay is familiar but smooth. The art is is just fucking brilliant (esp the bgs). Love the intro and character / gameplay concepts.

such an amazingly creative way to interpret the mission. You guys were not only successful in sticking to your "idea", but making it original and fun. I was little skeptical how the idea machine would work... now, it's just genius. Great work.

I'm honored to have contributed!! As for favorite... The styles vary so much and are all so freakin amazing, I can't single out one. That's not a cop out.... The overall art is just way too high of caliber.

Awesome Mayhem

The variety of weapons alone is plain sick. The AI is unreal. The levels are beautiful. The music is fucking epic. The whole piece is a smooth well-oiled machine of pure mayhem.

There's seriously so much replay value to this work of art.

So what if the story has a hole... i can't think of a game-plot I couldn't poke a hole in. It's not an adventure game ... it's a fast paced action shooter. And in that domain, this game is easily at the top.

Awesome minigame?

I love the retro feel. What I love more is how you took a simple idea and was able to package it as something fresh. Unfortunately, there's only so far this could go without getting a bit boring. That said, it would make an amazing minigame :)

Yes, I wondered myself how much people would be able to stand of it before leaving (the game is actually a level shorter than in my original plan). I'm wondering myself if anyone else has done something with this concept before - a sort of anti-pairs game - because I feel that they must have...

I'm glad you noticed the retro stylings, too - I started writing this just after re-buying a Commodore 64 book I used to have in the late 80s, so it influenced me a lot here :)

Toss the turtle should be proud. I had no idea how epic the game would be when I signed on. But I'm honored to even remotely affiliated with this.

The upgrade system is heavily diverse, and the graphics are stunning.
